Mining Equipment This mine forklift mover was designed by Robert Plakholm in the late 70's for Russel Brothers, after the boat building era had come to a close.

Steve Briggs notes (Dec. 11, 2018): The telegraph and coffee table were auctioned off when the Plakholms moved from Chatsworth to Tara several years ago.
PLAKHOLM, Robert - Passed away peacefully at Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre on Sept. 19, 2013 in his 69th year. Survived by his wife Cheryl (Rowe) of Tara, son Chris (Roberta Jackson) of Orangeville and daughter Paula Rehmann (Larry Johnston) of Owen Sound. Adoring Papa to Andrew and Crysania Rehmann of Owen Sound. Also survived by sister Helga Lynette of Walkerton. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Theresa, brother Ernie and sister Helen. A celebration of Robert's life will be held at the Tara Legion on Saturday, Sept. 28th at 2 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Southampton Care Centre Residents Council Fund would be appreciated.
