Steve & Liane Share Common Interest
Stephen Briggs and Liane Pitre share many common interests, but perhaps the one most in focus is their love for the human eye.
So what better way for two optometrists to share their interest than to start up their own practice together.
Stephen and Liane started taking patients at their practice earlier this week (Feb. 24th) at their new location at 1701 3rd Ave. East.
For both, the move to the new location marks another chapter in their careers as optometrists.
Stephen has been an Owen Sound native his whole life. He is a graduate of the OSCVI and before That attended various public schools throughout the city.
He became interested in optometry when the idea was introduced by a friend of the family, Dr. Howard Thompson of Bramalea.
For Stephen, the idea of optometry had an added attraction – that of being self-employed, something he had always wanted. So he decided to pursue a career in optometry at the University of Waterloo. That is when Liane entered his life.
