seacliff @ dominica-cottages.com   Jim Klinck notes (2006)...We renovated the Muskrat a few years after the Maggie 11 and then we took her on the Great Circle Tour, starting on the Trent Severn, down through Lake Michigan, the Mississippi ,down to Mobile, Alabama and then eventually up the eastern intercoastal to New York, Lake Champlain and back home again where she is resting near Ottawa until the next tour. This picture of the Muskrat was taken in Chicago. Lots of interest along the southern waterways in our little tug. Don't know if another Russell Bros. has made it into the Gulf of Mexico but if they have I hope the weather was a little better for them than when we crossed!! The picture you have on your site of the Muskrat was taken by Kent Malo as we were returning on the final leg of our 8 month journey back home to Ottawa. We had no idea it was taken until we looked at your site, neat to see the pictures and history of these gallant boats.
