Abitibi owned a sawmill in Hudson at one time and probably got the boat when Iroquois Falls closed their marine division." |

Robert Poncho Nadon comments (May 7, 2015): "When I was a little one, I used to go with my grandfather on the Tomiko. They were the putt-putt boats I called them. They were used to push the logs around into the booms. The bigger boats like the T. Gibbens and the Clark B. Davis pulled the booms back to the falls. They used to pile the 8 foot logs at Eades, ON and in the spring time they pushed the piles of logs into the river where they woud float out into the lake with the current."
Hudson ON, May 17th 2003.
