Steve Richardson comments: "In short the restoration was the best the my cheque book could do. The cat D311 was rebuilt as new, with all the rings, cams,crank and gaskets being hand made at Cat. The hull was sandblasted inside and out, the winch was taken apart and re done in any way that it needed. All the serial numbers match, hull, house,wheel, anchor. I'm building a trailer that should be finished soon." - May 15th, 2006.

The search light, that was made in Montreal need some parts (the outer steel
ring with the hinge) but looks pretty good.
