Canadian List of Shipping 1970: Steel tug Otterville [C.326084] registered at Halifax. Built at Owen Sound in 1944. 37'; 11 g.t. In 1959, Otterville was listed in St. John's, Newfoundland for harbour fire service. She was sold to Canadian national Railways, owner of the St. John's Dockyard, in 1964.
Registry #326084. 1 – 150bhp Cummins diesel engine (1944).
Repower 1 - 125bhp, 2nhp diesel engine by Cummins Engine Co., Columbus, Il (1966).
In 1944 she was built for the Royal Canadian Navy. She was employed as a harbour tug at Saint John NB. In 1964 she was sold to J.P. Porter Co. Ltd. Montreal, QC. In 1976 she was sold to USA interests. Registry closed Date 1976-08-27.

There is a discrepancy in the W number assignation. Nauticapedia lists W32 as being from Hartville, not Otterville, as my sources suggest. Their source is Archives Canada, which I cannot access.
