Sault Ste. Marie Tugboat Race early 2000s. New Billy, Queensville, Bonnyville, Channel Bratt, Cobra.

2003 Great Tugboat Race programme courtesy Jeanette Cox. "The New Billy worked pulling a barge on the Upper Montreal River delivering fuel, equipment and general freight during the 1980's. Before that time, she was known as Old Billy and was owned by Claude Drouin. Her engine and transmission were reconditioned by Harry Gamble Shipyard in 1983 and in 1984 she received a new upper deck. New Billy is pleased to be a part of the Great Tugboat Race."

Jimmy Polnick comments (Feb. 11, 2019): "These were part of a yearly auction as part of The Great Tugboat Race, in Sault Ste. Marie. Tickets would be sold for this, and I believe you also got a ticket as part of your calendar when you purchased it. The money that was raised through the tug boat races went towards helping children in both Sault Ste. Marie Ontario, and Michigan, with mobility issues."

Matthew Carlson writes (Nov. 8, 2017)..."Newer photos of the New Billy my coworker sent me in August. It is operated by Kabbi Lake Forrest Products in White River Ontario. Lots of power with its 4-71 Detroit diesel but needs a lot more weight up forward.
