worked as a summer student with the Compagnie de Flottage du St-Maurice
from approx 1882/83 to 1987. It's nice to see photos of many of the boats I
worked on in La Tuque, Grandes-Piles and Shawinigan.
The little boat between the Jos Denoncourt and
the Nikauba is the Hope. I spent many hours on her chugging up and down the
river. Captain when I was there was Clément Gélinas, and his son worked
with us too.
