In 1944 she built for the Royal Canadian Navy. She was employed as a harbour tug at St. John's Newfoundland. In 1945 she was sold to Pulpwood Supply Co. Ltd., Toronto, ON. In 1947 she was sold to Long Lac Pulp and Paper Co. Ltd., Toronto, ON. In 1959 the company name of Long Lac Pulp and Paper Co. Ltd was changed to Kimberly-Clark Pulp and Paper Co. Ltd., Toronto, ON.
