YC notes: "The 250 engine in the Sorgius is the one installed by my father (Roger Cloutier)... and I was the first one to test it... On the first ride, he had to limit the revolution in order to prevent the water to enter by the access hole in the back of the boat.... He let me push it to the maximum speed just to see what could happen! The engine is a little over size for the hull!" n.b. for sale July 2006: http://www.raymondlefebvre.com/tabindex.aspx?section=product

Daniel Paquette notes (Nov. 2018): "I found the Henry Sorguis at St-Emélie de L’Energie, when I was looking at buying the Coron in 2007."

This must be the Henry Sorgius, the scratches match those on the pictures that were sent to me two years ago when the Sorgius was on the Petite Shawinigan...The Sorgius was the 37 ft. Russel with the strongest engine on the St-Maurice river, the engine RPM had to be locked to prevent the water from returning on the rear deck when running on free water. I am the only one that pushed it to the limit while my father worked on the fuel pump to lock the engine revolution in order to keep the boat safe! n.b. photos likely from 20/07/08.
Yves Cloutier notes (8/23/17): "Photo from Dave Bessant. The tough guy was rebuilt by Groupe Ocean!"
Note the shortened bow and stern sections. boatnerd source: http://www.boatnerd.com/news/newsthumbsb/images-11-3/04-HenrySorgius-01-11-11-WDB.jpg
