This tug was built in 1965 by Russel Brothers Limited of Owen Sound, ON as the Epinette II for Verreault Navigation Inc. of Les Mechins, QC. The Epinette II serves as Verreault’s shipyard tug, assisting vessels into and out of the drydock in Les Mechins, as well as providing icebreaking services in the winter.
