This small tug was built in 1948 as the Dapper Dan for the Beauharnois Light, Heat & Power Company. She was later sold to Beaver Marine of Halifax, NS. In 1998, McNally International of Hamilton, ON purchased the Dapper Dan. This tug is currently laid up in Point Tupper, NS. Type: Twin Screw Tugboat Year Built: 1948 Builder: Russel Bros. 1986, Île Charron, Longueuil, QC. Dapper Dan at Île Charron, Longueuil, QC near Montreal shown in the colours of Construction Canamon Inc. in 1986. According to the "bluebook" published by the Ministry of Transport, in 1986 the owner was listed as Greyhound Leasing of Canada. Current owner is McNally Construction. It had many owners over the years including McKeil Work Boats.
