René Beauchamp says (Feb. 27, 2017): Tug named CARON I photographed in the Lac St-Jean area in July 1985. Looks like a Russel built tug.

Nicole Brouillet and Daniel Paquette bought Coron in 2007. Nicole comments (Nov. 16, 2018): "We thought that the name was CORON but we are not sure. We bought it 10 years ago, the last owner before me was Abitibi Price Pulp and Paper from Lac St-Jean. It is a 1952 Russel Hipwell Owen Sound Ontario hull number 999." Daniel Paquette adds "Found this one at Péribonka Lac St-Jean. It was operated by Jean-Rock Simard, who ran a fleet of six tugs for Abitibi-Price. In 2007 we brought it home to Longue Pointe, Repentigny QC. Year after year we invested money. Some welding jobs, sand blasting, and painting. After a couple of years I started to fix the engine."
