GAO Notes: Channel Bratt is not registered but definetly Russel built. Photo on boatnerd tug page. Maurice Spooner spoke with the owner who identified it as ex- Ada Marie Purvis. Channel Bratt - Capt. Maurice Spooner Notes: Channel Bratt is owned by Randy Colewell's father. Randy owns Bonnyville.

2003 Great Tugboat Race programme courtesy Jeanette Cox. "The Channel Bratt, formerly known as the Ada Marie Purvis was built in 1942 by the Russel Brothers of Owen Sound. She was purchased by the Colwell family in 1986. Her home port is Gore Bay, Manitoulin Island and she is often seen touring the North Channel and area."
