YC notes: The Cape Crow, it was used in Trois-Rivires and delivered in 1951 at Bcancourt near Trois-Rivires, The boat was transfered from a CN Flat car to a barge before transferral to Trois-Rivires. The Cape Crow was great looking Tug, but without a winch and a flat bottom, it was not as versatile as the other aligator tugs!.... The shape of the hull was not ideal to jump a boom but I guess it was a bit faster than all the others in clear water.

STANDARDIZE on STEELCRAFT. For every kind of log towing job, there's a Steelcraft design ... or enough know-how at Russel-Hipwell to produce one.

To be a successful boat it should be tailored for the job, with plenty of power for towing.

R-H have over 300 logging craft designs on file. The "Cape Crow" tows on the St. Maurice river and its 106 h.p. Cummins diese! gives it a bollard pull of over 1 tons on the wheel.

IF YOU HAVE A TOWING PROBLEM STANDARDIZE ON STEELCRAFT.
