This small tug was built by Russel Brothers in 1944 as the “Ville”-class tug Colville for the Canadian Navy. In 1964 she was sold civilian and renamed Gulf Wave. She was later renamed La Praxis. In 1979, she was sold to Dean Construction of LaSalle, ON and renamed Bobby Bowes. She is currently active in the marine construction trade for Dean.
